Underground & Digging Damage Prevention Training

Description

Know what’s below. Protect lives. Prevent damage.

World Wide Safety is hosting free underground and digging damage prevention training in partnership with the State of Nevada Public Utilities Commission and Southwest Gas. If your crews put a shovel or a bucket in the ground, this is two hours well spent.

What the training covers

• Underground utilities and how to identify what is in your dig area
• Damage prevention practices
• 811 Call Before You Dig
• State of Nevada requirements
• Working safely around natural gas facilities
• Safety best practices
• Question and answer session

Having the PUC and Southwest Gas in the room together is the part worth showing up for. You get the state requirements and the utility’s expectations from the people who set them, and you get to ask your questions directly instead of guessing.

One strike on a gas line can end a project, a company, or a life. This training is free, it includes lunch, and it takes a single morning.
